COOKING INGREDIENTS:
Baking Powder: Use Featherweight Baking Powder, which uses potato starch in place of corn starch.Powdered Sugar: Look for organic powdered sugar that has tapioca starch instead of corn starch. Apparently you can make your own; I haven't done this, so I cannot attest to any of the recipes online!
Chocolate Chips: Ghirardelli chips are corn-free, unless you are being very strict about vanilla.
Brownie Mix: If you don't want to make your own, try Great Harvest Bread Company's mix. It's delicious! Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix does not have corn-derivatives in the artificial flavors, but it is made on machinery that processes corn products.
Cooking Oils: Use Canola or Olive Oil, not unspecified "vegetable oil"
MEAL IDEAS:
These pages are not dedicated to corn-free cooking, but they are dedicated to whole-foods, which tends to lean toward meals without corn products.www.100daysofrealfood.com
